Award-winning dog daycare, training and holidays in North London
Halo Dogs was founded in 2009 by Justin Kumaran on a simple belief: dogs thrive when they are understood, well cared for and given the freedom to be dogs.
From our estate at Holly Hill Farm in Enfield, our experienced team looks after dogs from across London through daycare, boarding, training and one-to-one care, always with welfare first.
Every dog is assessed before they join us, so each one is placed with the right companions and the right routine.

Halo Dogs have looked after my dogs for the past 15 years, and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. My dogs have always loved going there — they get so excited in the mornings when they’re collected, which says it all! The walkers are wonderful, very personable and genuinely build lovely relationships with the dogs. It’s reassuring to know they’re being so well looked after by people who really care about them. I would highly recommend Halo Dogs for both their daycare and boarding services.Posted on Google![]()

We rented the dog park at Halo Dogs (Holly Hill Farm) today and were very impressed! 🐾 It’s a fantastic, secure space where your dogs can roam freely and safely, with plenty of activities for both you and your dogs to enjoy. The prices are very reasonable too. The whole family, dogs included, thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We’ll definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend it! 🐶❤️Posted on Google![]()

Feels like I am sending my dog away on holiday! The dog collection/delivery service works well, and I see photos of what fun she is having. She's a retired racing greyhound and I sometimes think she misses having other dogs around.Posted on Google![]()

Absolutley amazing experience with Halo Dogs! Leaving your dog anywhere can be nerve-wracking, but the team here goes above and beyond to make you feel completely at ease. The 540-acre countryside facility is pristine, spotlessly clean, and an absolute paradise for dogs. I love the regular updates and photos they send throughout the day—it gives so much peace of mind. My dog Bruno always comes home happy, thoroughly socialised, and pleasantly exhausted. The whole team are professional, friendly, and clearly adore what they do. Highly recommend them to any dog owner in North London and beyond!! Thank you for always caring about Bruno 🥰Posted on Google![]()

Milo has been attending Halo since he was 17 weeks old (now nearly 3). He attends once or twice a week, as well as having occasional overnight stays. Halo gives us 100% piece of mind. Some people think Halo is expensive but for what they provide it is great value. Milo loves gets so excited when he is picked up, especially when Bruno or Luke turn up: of course he loves all the staff. Sometimes we think he loves them more than us😂 Milo goes off without a look back and always returns home happy, and tired after a hard day socialising. Milo has developed into a happy and confident dog, unfazed by others dogs no matter how big or small. The staff at Halo are so dedicated and treat Milo like their own. We can relax knowing he is well cared for and doing lots of exciting things. If we go away or out for an evening we know Milo is having a great time. Milo is very much an outdoors doggy, which is another reason why Halo suits him so well, there is so much outdoor space and he is kept well occupied. Justin is always on hand to answer any questions we may have and is our go to person. I do not hesitate to recommend Halo to other dog owners when asked. Why not book an induction and make up your own mind, you won’t look back. Happy Owners😀😀Posted on Google![]()

We have been using Halo since Mika was about a year old for boarding when we go away. All I can say is my dog is a traitor, because when she is collected by one of the team - she goes off without a backwards glance 😂 and is familiar with all the team. Most importantly she comes back happy and secure so that tells us she’s well looked after. We completely trust Halo’s team to give Mika everything she needs while we’re away. It make such a difference to know that she’s having a great canine holiday while we’re having our human one! We can’t recommend enough!!!! 5*

What is Halo Dogs?
Halo Dogs is a 5-star licensed dog day care, boarding and training centre on a private 540-acre estate in Enfield, North London. It was founded in 2009 as a dog rescue centre and now offers overnight stays, weekday day care, dog training, private field hire, grooming, dog walking and a pet taxi, all from one site. Dogs spend their days outdoors across open countryside, with climate-controlled indoor spaces for rest.
Where is Halo Dogs located?
Holly Hill Farm, The Ridgeway, Enfield EN2 8AN, on a 540-acre private estate at the northern edge of London. The chauffeur service collects from across North London and parts of Hertfordshire and Essex. Visits are by appointment.
Is Halo Dogs licensed?
Yes. Halo Dogs holds a 5-star licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) (England) Regulations 2018, with Justin Kumaran as the named licensee. Licence numbers LN/201500615 and LN/202500201.
Do you collect and return dogs?
Yes. The chauffeur service collects on weekdays between 8 am and 10 am and returns dogs home between 4 pm and 6 pm, across North London and parts of Hertfordshire and Essex. Contact the team with your postcode to confirm your area is covered, or see the pet taxi in London.
Is there veterinary support on site?
Yes. The team includes Registered Veterinary Nurse Ros Sherlock, who has worked with dogs for more than 45 years, including 25 as a head veterinary nurse. Vet nurse consultations are also available as a standalone service.
What does my dog need before their first visit?
Every new dog completes an assessment before their first day care session or overnight stay, so the team can understand their temperament, routine and care needs and place them with compatible dogs. Dogs must also be up to date with core vaccinations.
Can puppies and older dogs attend?
Yes. Puppy training can start from 10 weeks of age once fully vaccinated, and there is no upper age limit. Day care groups are organised by age and energy level, with a dedicated puppy zone and a calmer area for senior dogs.
Do you offer dog training?
Yes. Halo Dogs trains with positive reinforcement and clicker training, from puppy foundations and 1-2-1 sessions through to residential programmes and agility. Dog training is led by founder Justin Kumaran, a Master Trainer with the Guild of Dog Trainers, and owners are taught the same methods to keep progress going at home.
Can I hire a private dog field?
Yes. The private field is booked exclusively for 30 or 60 minute sessions, with 6ft double fencing, an airlock entrance and exit, and floodlights so evening sessions run year-round. The dog park suits dogs who need off-lead space without other dogs around.
How will I know how my dog is getting on?
Every day care and boarding guest receives a daily service report covering meals, exercise, behaviour and general wellbeing. Bookings are managed through the online client portal.
How do I book?
New clients start by booking a visit to the estate or calling 020 8367 7899, and the team then arranges an assessment. Existing clients can book directly through the client portal.
